Research Summary: The primary objective of our research team is to use an integrative approach of structural biology, protein biochemistry, biophysics, and computational biology and to study the roles and regulations of the membrane transporter proteins. The goal is to uncover the molecular details at atomic resolution that underlie the biological processes and mechanisms leading to health conditions and pathophysiology. Ultimately the research outcomes will enable pharmaceutical discovery and medicinal intervention.
