Since 2015, we have been holding an Annual Meeting to bring together renowned and budding biophysicists to showcase their research and developments in various fields of biophysics. Check this page on a regular basis to learn about our upcoming conference and explore past conferences.
The annual meetings of The Biophysical Society of Canada provide a unique opportunity for trainees and researchers in academia and industry to learn about the most recent advances in Biophysics through invited lectures and contributed talks and posters, and to discover state-of-the art instrumentation from exhibits by selected companies. Each Annual Meeting also includes a trainee symposium, a full day devoted to trainees and careers in biophysics.
Register for our annual meeting to learn more about recent biophysical research in Canada and worldwide. From molecular to cellular and tissue biophysics, from experimental to computational and modeling tools, each conference boasts a great selection of keynote and invited speakers to provide attendees invaluable exposure to emerging ideas and techniques in biophysical research and industry.
This coming year will mark the 10th anniversary of the BSC annual meetings. BSC 2025 will take place at McMaster in Hamilton, Ontario. It will kick off with an opening reception on the evening of May 20th, 2025, with scientific sessions starting on the morning of May 21st and ending in the afternoon on May 23rd.
