Join the community of diverse biophysical researchers located across Canada.
As a BSC Member, you will become part of a diverse community of biophysical researchers across our nation. The BSC fosters biophysical research by enhancing interactions between Canadian Biophysicists. Another key mission of the BSC is to promote the careers of the next generation of Biophysicists in Canada. Members of the BSC are kept abreast of society activities through our newsletters.
Your membership dues in the Biophysical Society of Canada are used primarily to support trainees (travel grants, awards, etc.). Funds are also used to promote Biophysics in Canada by sponsoring events, such as the BSC annual meeting and Canadian Biophysics networking events.
You can join the BSC either as an individual member (Regular, Student/Post-doc or Emeritus) or through a lab membership. The lab membership is for one PI and all the trainees that are directly under his/her supervision. The PI is considered a regular member and has the right to vote and hold office.
BSC members enjoy discounted registration fees for our annual meetings.
The Biophysical Society of Canada has been connecting biophysicists across Canada since 1985 through annual meetings, events, awards and programs to develop, grow and enrich Canadian biophysics research.
