Research Summary: The lab is interested in predominantly studying different aspects of bacterial cell shape and size regulation using approaches from physics and biology. For example, we are interested in cell-cycle regulation, in the coordination of cell volume and cell mass growth, in the regulation of cellular dimensions, and in the integrity of the bacterial cell envelope.
